Frederick, came to Palatka in May of 1977 as part-time Pastor. Calvary had only two worship services a month, on the first and third Sunday's, as did most of the churches in Putnam County. Seven years later Frederick and and his wife Irene moved to Palatka as full time Pastor with their son Frederick. And two years later Kristie was added and two years later Selena was added to the Demps clan. Frederick is now in his 37th year as senior pastor. Besides being excited about leading the church, Pastor Demps loves to teach, watch football, read, and is an avid Fisherman, the remaining of Pastor Demps free time is taken up with leading projects on behalf of the Indigenous People of Africa and the Diaspora.
